Brick Stitch Increasing – Tutorial for Beginners
First row
1. String two beads and leave a 7-8 inch thread tail
2. Go back through both beads. Pull the thread taut, so the two beads will be next to one another.
3. Go back up through the first bead.
Second row
4. Add two beads.
5. Pass the needle under the threads joining beads in the previous row and go up through the second added bead.
6. Add one bead and pass the needle under the threads joining the two beads in the first row, then go back up.
Third row
7. 8. Add two beads and pass the needle under the thread joining two first beads in the previous row and go back up through the second added bead.
9. Add one bead and pass the needle under the thread joining the second and third bead in the previous row, then go back up.
